Our board and vision team unanimously agreed that Mr. Newsome’s passion, interest and level of commitment in building for God’s kingdom was truly evident. Our church has entered into contract with him to master plan our site, develop an architectural rendering and ultimately complete construction of a church building. His first planning meeting with the vision team and staff will be taking place August 28th.

I would invite you to visit his website, newsomeconstruction.com, to review his previous projects and develop some understanding of his company’s vision. If you have any suggestions or areas of interest that you would like to bring forward as we enter into this planning phase, please post them here or discuss them with vision team or staff. I would welcome any dialogue during this time.

I will continue to update you about the progress that is being made and anticipate another church town hall sometime this fall to introduce Mr Newsome and discuss future plans.

I have had a few preliminary meetings with Mr. Newsome and I am encouraged by his passion and commitment to building churches that meet congregational needs. He designed and built the recent facilities expansion atFort WorthFirstChurchof the Nazarene which held our annual district meetings. He will be making a presentation to the Church Board and Vision Committee. Continue to remember us in prayer as we come to the critical point of deciding on an architectural/building firm to partner with. As always, I am available to speak with anyone who wants more detailed information or has some suggestions for the Vision Team.
